Lamb route on Texel

Spring on Texel is all about lambs; Every spring we receive thousands of sheep on the island. From the end of winter you can see the lambs frolicking in the meadows in many places. They run, tumble over each other and explore; a spectacle that will certainly make you happy!

Get on your bike and enjoy the lambs on Texel. This 35 kilometer (cycling) route across the old land of Texel takes you past the most beautiful places where you can see lambs in the spring. It also contains interesting stopping points. You can do this tour by bike, but you can also do it on foot.
