Woolpower Ullfrotté Original 600 grams fabric
The Woolpower 600 clothing can be worn under a windbreaker or waterproof jacket as a second layer. It is better not to wear the Woolpower 600 clothing directly on the body, but with another Woolpower (200 or LITE) layer in between, which are specifically made to wear directly on the body. Ullfrotté is a fabric that Woolpower has developed itself. It is a mix of merino wool and polyamide. Due to the special way of knitting, where one side of the fabric is flat and the other side consists of loops, this material retains a lot of air and therefore heat. The fabric absorbs moisture and sweat from the body and transports it to the outside of the fabric. This keeps your body warm. This also works the other way; when it is hot outside, the body is kept cool by the fabric. Wool does not absorb odors, so the clothes do not retain the sweat smell. Woolpower Ullfrotté 600 is made of 70% merino wool, 28% polyamide and 2% elastane.
The clothing is machine washable at 60 degrees and is tumble dryer resistant.

About Woolpower
Woolpower is a Swedish brand. In the early 1970s, in collaboration with the Swedish army, they started producing merino wool thermal underwear. This development results in clothing that can withstand the most extreme temperatures and is also very durable. Woolpower clothing never consists of 100% merino wool, as this is too wear-sensitive for intensive use. By adding other materials, the Woolpower underwear is optimally able to transport and evaporate sweat.
Woolpower products are made in Östersund, Jämtland. The seamstresses make a complete Woolpower product from start to finish. When they are satisfied with the result, they sew their own name tag into the garment.
Woolpower's idea is that it is not thermal clothing that keeps you warm, but your own body. Woolpower's thermal clothing ensures that there is a layer of air between the body and your thermal underwear, thanks to Woolpower's unique structure. Woolpower thermal clothing is available in 3 types, the LITE, Ullfrotté Original 200 and Ullfrotté Original 400. There are also socks in Ullfrotté Original 600 and even in Ullfrotté Original 800.
