Quality yarn from the Netherlands
Scheepjes Woolwise is a yarn made of superwash merino wool. This wool can therefore simply be machine washed on a wool wash program, without shrinking or felting. This makes Woolwise very attractive for making (children's) clothing, home textiles and other items that you want to wash more often. However, wool is a special material with natural self-cleaning properties. In order to save water, it is therefore advisable to simply air products that you make with Woolwise outside, so that they will quickly be fresh again.
Woolwise knitting wool is available in various beautiful solid colours, so you will always find the right colour for your project!

Washing instructions
Wool is a nice material to make clothes from because it is antibacterial and odor-resistant. Wool clothing therefore does not need to be washed often. Hang the garment outside occasionally so that it can freshen up. If you do want to wash the garment, we recommendTexelana Wool Detergent . Never rub hard when hand washing, to prevent felting. Always check the label in the garment for the washing instructions. Always let wool clothing dry flat.
If you treat your wool garment in this way, it will not only stay nicer and last longer, but by airing instead of washing, you also save the environment.
Scheepjes
Scheepjes is a brand that has existed since 1799. The company was founded in Veenendaal. In its heyday in the 19th century, almost 900 people worked for Scheepjeswol. Due to high costs and a shrinking sales market, the company went bankrupt in 1988. In 2010, De Bondt from Tynaarlo took over the brand name and revived it.
