Recycling wool clothing
If you want to replace your wool sweater with a new one after years of enjoyment, you can recycle your old sweater in several ways.
You can hand in your sweater at one of the many thrift stores in the Netherlands. If your sweater is still in good condition, it will be sold again here.
If your sweater is in poor condition, you can choose to donate your sweater in a clothing bin. Clothes in these bins often go to the Salvation Army or are recycled.
If you are creative yourself, it is also possible to take your woolen garment apart and knit something new from it. For example, you can knit a nice scarf or a pair of warm socks from your old sweater.
